Tow Motor Operator (Material Handler) at Carpenter Co. in Woodbridge, ON: Safely operate forklift/clamp truck, perform material handling of foam blocks from plant areas to department lines, operate baler and bale trim, ensure quality control specifications are met, maintain housekeeping standards, and perform other duties as requested by management in a production environment with exposure to temperature changes and safety hazards.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to drive a forklift/clamp truck or ability to obtain license
- No experience necessary however, some would be an asset
- Able to interpret and work with numbers and measurements
- Able to lift between 20 – 40 lbs. comfortably
- General understanding of PPE and use
- Adaptable and flexible for any change of daily tasks
- Communicates effectively with employee inquiries or comments
- Strong organizational and time management skills considered an asset
- Ability to work under minimal to no supervision
