Job Summary
Tours & Hospitality Host at San Antonio Zoo, part-time role focused on enhancing guest experiences through guest check-ins for reservations, hosting guided tours, providing concierge services, and coordinating with onsite teams at Spekboom Lodge and The Ralston. Responsibilities include greeting guests, hosting tours, sharing information about the zoo and conservation efforts, offering dining recommendations and special requests handling, communicating safety protocols, addressing guest inquiries, coordinating with guest services and operations, maintaining high customer service standards, managing reservation schedules, assisting with event setup/breakdown, and understanding emergency guidelines. Ideal candidates will have strong customer service and communication skills, hospitality experience, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, a friendly professional demeanor, and a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings, with an interest in wildlife or zoo operations a plus.
