Job Summary
Conduct escorted tours for Alaskan, Grand Canyon, Bryce, and American West itineraries, delivering comprehensive destination information and managing schedules for groups of 35. Reconfirm all services with vendors, maintain formal relationships with partners, and address last-minute changes through quick decision-making. Listen to traveler feedback, take notes, and communicate directly with the GCT Office while ensuring high-quality program delivery. Apply leadership and teamwork skills to connect travelers with local culture and traditions, focusing on their enjoyment and exceeding expectations.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 Years of experience guiding tours in the above
- Passion for the destinations, their people, culture, and traditions
- Go beyond the touristy destination to connect your travelers with the locals
- Knowledge (History, Everyday Life, Nature, Culture) of the destinations
- Flexibility, teamwork, and leadership skills
- Ability to make quick decisions to address last-minute changes
- Proficient in using Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel
