Job Summary
Oversee program quality and deliver destination information for escorted tours covering the Canadian Maritimes and Rockies. Connect travelers with locals by highlighting history, culture, and nature while managing last-minute changes. Reconfirm services, maintain formal relationships with partners, and listen to feedback to ensure traveler enjoyment. Requires 3–5 years of guiding experience, proficiency in Excel, and flexibility for on-call rotations. Salary is $220 USD daily with performance bonuses and gratuity.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 Years of experience guiding tours in the above
- Passion for the destinations, their people, culture, and traditions
- Go beyond the touristy destination to connect your travelers with the locals
- Knowledge (History, Everyday Life, Nature, Culture) of the destinations
- Flexibility, teamwork, and leadership skills
- Ability to make quick decisions to address last-minute changes
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, specifically Excel
