Job Summary
The Tour CDL Driver is responsible for providing safe, prompt, and efficient transportation to customers, operating the vehicle in accordance with traffic regulations. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with DOT regulations, delivering exceptional customer service, performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, managing fuel and maintenance records, and assisting passengers needing special assistance. Successful candidates must be at least 21 years old, hold the necessary licenses, and have a good command of English, along with the ability to prioritize tasks and listen actively.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age of 21 years old
- Able to read, speak and understand English
- Ensure that all documentation as required by DOT are current and valid
- Hawaii Driver History Record
- PUC (Physical Examination, Medical Clearance Card)
- Must convey detailed or important spoken instructions accurately
Desired Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (CDL A or B with P endorsement is preferred but not required)
- Knowledge of local streets and hotel locations
- Ability to perform simple math functions – counting, adding, subtracting
