Job Summary
Conduct bouldering, top rope, and lead climbing instruction for kids at various ability levels, applying creative and fun approaches to make learning engaging. Develop high-quality training curriculum and programming for Team Touchstone while collaborating with other coaches to facilitate an exceptional team experience. Requires sound understanding of climbing techniques including footwork, body positioning, and route reading, alongside patience for diverse learning styles. This role supports Dogpatch Boulders within Touchstone's 18-gym California community, offering a starting pay of $21.50/hour with benefits such as medical FSA, paid time off, and free gym membership.
Required Qualifications
- Experienced in bouldering, top rope, and lead climbing
- Sound understanding of climbing techniques such as footwork, body positioning, movement efficiency, route reading, etc
- Has the patience and passion for working with kids at a variety of ability levels and learning styles
- Brings a creative, fun approach to climbing instruction and curriculum
- Interested in creating high quality training curriculum and programming for Team Touchstone
- Excited to collaborate with other coaches to facilitate an exceptional team experience for our climbers
