Job Summary

Tote Repair Technician who inspects, cleans, repairs, and maintains intermediate bulk containers (IBCs/totes) to meet company reuse standards. Role supports sustainability, customer satisfaction, and safe handling of industrial containers. Core duties include inspecting totes for damage or contamination, cleaning with appropriate tools/chemicals, repairing components (cages, valves, lids, gaskets), reassembling parts to ensure leak-free and structurally sound totes, performing pressure/leak tests, documenting repairs in maintenance logs, maintaining a clean and safe work area, operating hand tools and forklifts (if certified), adhering to safety/environmental procedures, and coordinating with team leads on inventory and recurring repair issues; schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM at 3401 Cummings Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37419.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Unrestricted employment authorization to work in the US
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain forklift certification
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform physical labor
  • Project a professional appearance with the ability to represent our company in a positive manner to our customers and associates
  • Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations
