Job Summary

Manage end-to-end payroll and compensation processes including salary changes, variable pay, deductions, and validations. Administer employee benefits programs such as superannuation, insurance, and leave entitlements in line with Australian requirements. Handle complex employee queries and escalations related to compensation, payroll, and benefits via contact center channels. Ensure compliance with Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, taxation, and superannuation regulations while performing payroll audits and reconciliations. Maintain data accuracy across HRIS and payroll systems and drive adherence to SLA/KPI metrics for accuracy, turnaround time, and customer satisfaction. Identify trends in compensation queries to recommend process improvements and automation opportunities. Collaborate with HRBPs, finance, and vendors for issue resolution and ensure audit readiness with data privacy controls.

Required Qualifications

  • BBA/BHRD
  • 5 to 8 years
  • Relevant years of experience in Compensation & Benefits / Payroll / HR Operations
  • Experience in shared services or contact center environments
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields preferred)
  • Strong understanding of Compensation & Benefits processes including payroll operations and benefits administration
  • In-depth knowledge of Australian payroll regulations (Fair Work Act, taxation, superannuation, Modern Awards)
  • Experience in HR shared services / contact center environment with SLA-driven delivery
  • Hands-on experience with HRIS and payroll systems (SAP, Workday, ADP, SuccessFactors)
  • Ability to handle complex payroll queries and escalations with high accuracy
  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills for payroll validation and reporting
  • Experience in audit support, compliance checks, and risk mitigation
  • Excellent stakeholder and communication skills across HR, finance, and employees
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to manage confidential compensation data
  • Adaptability to high-volume, fast-paced operational environments
  • Must be open to Australian shift timings: (9 am to 5 pm) Australian time
