Job Summary

Own the day-to-day administration of medical, dental, vision, life, flexible spending, retirement, and related benefit programs, managing eligibility, enrollments, life-event changes, terminations, and documentation while coordinating with brokers, carriers, payroll, and vendors. Handle end-to-end leave of absence and workplace accommodation cases from intake through closure, including benefit continuation, payroll impact, and return-to-work coordination. Administer workers' compensation cases from incident intake through closure, supporting care, wage coordination, work restrictions, and case resolution. Assist with HRIS requirements gathering, configuration, data validation, testing, training, and launch support, while maintaining accurate data and producing reports. Support compensation activities including market data gathering, job pricing, pay-equity analysis, and annual compensation planning. Build reliable workflows, standard operating procedures, and tracking tools to reduce administrative burden and improve system consistency.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Four or more years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience with substantial hands-on ownership of benefits administration, leave management, workers' compensation, and HRIS transactions or reporting
  • Strong working knowledge of California and federal leave, disability accommodation, benefits, and workers' compensation requirements, including the ability to recognize when a matter requires escalation
  • Experience managing multiple employee cases, deadlines, vendors, data files, and confidential records with strong accuracy and follow-through
  • Hands-on experience with an HRIS, payroll system, benefits platform, and vendor interfaces or data feeds
  • Regular use of a computer and HR technology platforms
  • Ability to manage detailed records and sustained periods of screen-based work
  • Hybrid work arrangement with regular onsite presence
  • Occasional travel among Los Angeles-area locations
  • Ability to lift and or carry up to 20 lbs

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting compensation administration, market benchmarking, pay-equity analysis, or an annual compensation cycle preferred
