Job Summary
Handle employee queries regarding payroll, compensation, and benefits via contact center channels, including calls, chat, and portal. Support payroll input validation, salary changes, bonus processing, and deductions while assisting in the administration of employee benefits such as health insurance and superannuation in Australia. Ensure accurate data entry and updates in HRIS and payroll systems, maintaining adherence to SLA/KPI metrics in a high-volume environment. Resolve basic compensation or payroll discrepancies and escalate complex issues, ensuring compliance with Australian regulations and data privacy requirements. Manage high-volume, repetitive transactions efficiently with strong attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B.A / B.Com / B.Sc / B.Tech or equivalent)
- Must be open to Australian shift timings: (9 am to 5 pm) Australian time
- Basic understanding of Compensation & Benefits processes (payroll, benefits administration)
- Knowledge of Australia payroll regulations, taxation, and superannuation basics
- Experience or understanding of contact center operations and SLA-driven delivery
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial and employee data
- Good communication skills with ability to handle employee queries professionally and empathetically
- Ability to manage high-volume, repetitive transactions efficiently
- Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
- Understanding of data privacy requirements for sensitive compensation information
- Adaptability to fast-paced, process-driven environments
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to Compensation & Benefits or employee data management processes is an advantage
- Familiarity with HRIS/payroll systems (SAP, Workday, ADP, SuccessFactors – preferred)
