Job Summary
Design, administer, and continuously improve the Company's compensation, benefits, wellness, recognition, and employee engagement programs. Lead annual planning for merit increases, market adjustments, and incentive programs while conducting benchmarking to ensure competitive pay. Manage self-insured health and welfare benefits, oversee vendor relationships, and coordinate open enrollment activities. Directly supervise one Senior Total Rewards Analyst and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Develop dashboards and present data-driven recommendations to executive leadership. Support approximately 500 employees across multiple locations with occasional travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive experience in compensation, benefits, or Total Rewards
- Experience managing compensation and benefits programs in a multi-state organization
- Experience with UKG or similar HRIS platform
- Three years experience administering state and federal leave
- Strong knowledge of compensation design, salary administration, and market pricing methodologies
- Deep understanding of employee benefits, healthcare funding, and self-insured plan administration
- Knowledge of applicable federal and state employment and benefits regulations
- Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence senior leaders
- Proficiency in HRIS systems, Excel, and data analytics tools
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution in a lean, fast-paced environment
- Occasional travel to company locations and employee events (10-15%)
