Job Summary
Perform primary and revision total joint arthroplasty for hip and knee cases, evaluating patients with degenerative joint disease and delivering comprehensive perioperative care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across anesthesia, nursing, and rehab while maintaining accurate EMR documentation and engaging in quality improvement initiatives. Participate in shared 1 in 6 call coverage and inpatient rounding to optimize patient outcomes. Join a collegial, physician-led team at Animas Orthopedics in Durango, Colorado, where you will build your own total joint program with access to robotic reconstruction technology and strong referral streams.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Completion of Orthopedic Surgery residency
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic surgery
- Eligible for Colorado licensure
- Strong clinical judgment
- Communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Commitment to patient-centered, high-quality care
