Job Summary
Join an established busy total joint orthopedic practice at UPMC Altoona as a Total Joint Orthopaedic Surgeon. Must have an MD or equivalent and be BC/BE in Orthopedic Surgery with the ability to obtain an unrestricted Pennsylvania license. The role supports a high-volume joint replacement program with arthroplasty focus, in-office imaging, PACS/EMR, and a 90,000 sq ft medical office complex. Current colleagues include trauma/fracture, foot and ankle, sports medicine, hand/upper extremity, and podiatry specialists, plus nine PAs. Opportunity includes clinical academic appointment, team physician duties for a local Division 1 university, generous salary with wRVU incentive bonus, sign-on bonus, and comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, retirement, PTO, CME). Trauma call is 1:6; practice supports leadership and professional dues with occurrence-based malpractice insurance.
Required Qualifications
