Job Summary
Prepare, regulate, and operate lathes and tools to machine metal parts using measurement instruments without harming the environment. Select measuring tools like calipers and micrometers, position and secure the tool on the lathe sphere, and fix the workpiece by centering and aligning it with reference points. Adjust machine mechanisms to set metal rotation speeds, activate controls to engage cutting tools, regulate lubricant flow over the cutting edge, and modify operational conditions by replacing cutting tools or adjusting piece rotation. Perform precise machining while adhering to established procedures. Full-time position in Juazeiro, Bahia at AGROVALE, a sustainable producer of sugar, ethanol, and bioelectricity.
Required Qualifications

- utilize measuring and control instruments

- select measuring instruments, such as vernier caliper, micrometer, calipers, squares and levels
- select cutting tools, drills and reamers and disassembly devices
- based on the established procedure, to obtain good work yield
- position and fix the chosen tool on the lathe spindle, aligning it and fixing it with the aid of adequate instruments
- position and fix the part on the lathe, centering and aligning it by reference points
- using various types and sizes of plates, clamps and angle irons
- to enable turning and avoid deviation of the part during operations
- adjust the mechanisms, establishing the rotation speed of the metal
- graduating the automatic control devices
- operate the lathe, activating flywheels and crankshafts or starting the control devices
- to bring the cutting tool into contact with the metal part
- regulate the flow of lubricants over the cutting edge of the tool
- make adjustments to conserve their cutting angles
- modify the operating conditions of the machine
- replace cutting tools
- alternate the rotation of the part or the advance of the cutting tool
- for the precise execution of the work

- experience in Industrial Mechanical Maintenance
