Torch Repair Technician

Job Summary
Diagnose, repair, and maintain customer-owned Fronius welding torches and hose packs while servicing demonstration and rental equipment to ensure full operational readiness. Assess customer gear to prepare detailed repair evaluations supporting quotations, then troubleshoot faults and implement effective solutions. Maintain accurate records of all repairs and inspections, support inventory management for stock control and material replenishment, and adhere to agreed repair schedules. Keep the workshop clean, organized, and safe in line with health and safety standards. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within service operations.
Required Qualifications
- Technical qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Previous experience in equipment repair, maintenance, servicing, or installation
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills with a methodical approach to problem-solving
- Good English language skills and/or local language proficiency appropriate for the role

- Basic knowledge of manual electrode, TIG, and MIG/MAG welding processes
