Job Summary
TOR Moderator role focusing on supporting online learning and tutoring programs. Responsibilities include working with the Lead Classroom Teacher to enforce classroom rules, motivate students toward academic success, create a positive student culture around online learning and small-group tutoring, maintain high behavioral expectations, interpret and utilize data to support student progress, provide targeted individual and small-group tutoring, assist with individual learning plans, maintain frequent communication with students and their support network, collaborate with teachers and administrators, participate in staff development and grade-appropriate meetings, ensure security of computer equipment, and perform other duties as assigned by the Lead Classroom Teacher and Principal. Qualifications emphasize an Associate degree (Bachelor's preferred), with experience or familiarity in Blended Learning, Online learning, urban education, and 3+ years in educational settings preferred; experience working with students with disabilities preferred.
