Job Summary
Topworks Assembler in Shrewsbury, MA will identify components, mount actuators and switches to valves, and assemble/test per work orders and specifications. Responsibilities include reading work orders and picklists, verifying parts against drawings, using a variety of hand tools and power tools, handling actuators that may require 230VAC connections, mounting components (actuator/manual gear, switches, solenoids, regulators) to assemblies, ensuring proper valve open/close positioning, safely rigging assemblies, and maintaining product quality while complying with Health, Safety, Environment requirements. Requires reading assembly drawings, operating material handling equipment (fork truck or pallet jack) as needed, and contributing to a safe, efficient assembly area. Typical on-the-job experience is 0-1+ years; must be able to interpret drawings and follow specifications.
Required Qualifications
- 0-1+ years of on-the-job experience
- experience using hand and power tools
- read and interpret assembly drawings
- read and interpret work orders and picklists/ drawings
- familiar with actuators, solenoids, limit switches
- ability to use forklift or electric/manual pallet jack to move material
- comply with Health, Safety, Environment requirements
- Mount actuators, switches, and components to valves; test assemblies per work orders and specifications
- identify components and verify parts per picklist
- read applicable specifications and drawings using ICN
