Job Summary
Support underground water and sewer crews by assisting with trench support, pipe installation, and grade control basics. Check line and grade, measure, and spot equipment while working around trenches, excavators, and active underground crews. Take direction from the Topman, foreman, and operators to keep work safe, organized, and moving efficiently. Requires a valid Class 5 Driver's License and WHMIS & CSTS 2020 certification. Work long hours outdoors in all weather conditions on a 6 days on/1 day off schedule from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- WHMIS & CSTS 2020 (or willing to obtain)
- Physically able to work long hours outdoors in all weather conditions
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Able to take direction from the Topman, foreman, and operators
- Strong understanding of job site and trench safety (or willingness to learn)
