Job Summary
Dynamic, strategic leader sought to guide a skilled bilingual communications team within the Bilingual Communications Branch. The role focuses on day-to-day operations with service-excellence at the forefront, ensuring priorities are aligned and delivered efficiently, collaborating with mid- to senior-level management to enhance the effectiveness and value of centralized translation and communications services, and leading high-visibility, multi-departmental projects across the government. The successful candidate will drive initiatives to improve efficiency, responsiveness, and the impact of bilingual communications, foster collaboration, and build strong teams while promoting innovative approaches to improve government communications in both French and English.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in communications, journalism, marketing, public relations, or a related field
- Experience leading and supervising a team, including providing guidance, coaching and mentoring, managing performance, and efficiently delegating work
- Experience developing and implementing communications strategies that support organizational priorities and deliver measurable results
