Job Summary
Project Officer for the French Language Programs team provides program-support services to the Director and Manager of French Language Programs to help deliver French-language instructional programming to all students across the Territory. The role emphasizes supporting financial processes (account reconciliation, accounts payable, travel reimbursements), administrative tasks (logistics, travel coordination, program resource management), collaboration with community partners and various levels of government, and use of computer programs including accounting software, databases, and Excel. Bilingual French/English customer service is an asset, with emphasis on client-focused service and strong organizational skills to support program delivery in the Yukon.
Required Qualifications
- Recent experience providing financial support, including account reconciliation, accounts payable, and travel reimbursements.
- Experience in administrative tasks such as logistics, travel coordination, and program resource management.
- Experience working effectively with community partners, stakeholders, and various levels of government.
- Experience using various computer programs, including accounting software, database systems, and Excel.
- Experience delivering bilingual (French/English) customer service is considered an asset.
- Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.
