Provide advanced pre-hospital care to residents and visitors in Yukon using Advanced Care Paramedic (ACP) education and ALS skills in ground ambulance operations. This on-call role supports four auxiliary positions and establishes a 6-month eligibility list to fill similar positions. Candidates must have completed an ACP education/program and hold a valid ACP license, with TB screening, vulnerable sector check (RCMP), and Yukon class 4 driver’s licence (or equivalent). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and in a team, and experience collaborating with allied agencies are important. The role involves shift work, including weekends and standby, and exposure to high-stress, physical, and outdoor environments. Location is Whitehorse, Yukon, Canada.
