Toolshop Construction Engineer

Job Summary
Create 2D technical drawings and 3D models for machined parts while defining and optimizing machining processes for milling, turning, grinding, and cutting using CAD/CAM systems. Select materials, cutting tools, and clamping methods, then prepare and update technical documentation, procedures, and work instructions. Provide technical support to machine operators, monitor tool conditions, and initiate procurement as needed. Resolve technical issues with the maintenance team, implement standards like 5S and TPM, and propose process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs. Work within the SAP PM system to maintain records and prepare reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in similar roles within toolshop or production environment
- Knowledge of machining technologies: milling, turning, grinding, cutting, bending
- Experience working with conventional and CNC machines
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (e.g., Autodesk Inventor, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, or similar)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
- Proficiency in English
