Job Summary
Toolroom Apprentice at Magna Cosma is responsible for supporting toolroom operations, applying 5S and safety practices, reading blueprints, assisting Tool & Die Makers, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires basic machining experience, strong organization and teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to work across shifts (including evenings/nights). You will adhere to quality systems (IATF16949, ISO14001) and company policies, participate in training, and help maintain a safe, efficient workshop while supporting tooling processes and confidentiality of information.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- Basic blueprint reading
- Minimum one year machining experience
- Self-motivated
- Proficient in measuring tools
- English and Mathematics (written & verbal)
- Able to work all 3 shifts
- Proficient in use of basic Toolroom equipment
