Job Summary
Experienced Tool and Die Maker to build, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges. Read and interpret blueprints and specifications. Operate tool room equipment such as mills, lathes, grinders, and drill presses. Inspect parts with precision measuring instruments. Troubleshoot tooling issues and perform necessary repairs. Support production by minimizing downtime and improving tool performance. Follow safety and quality standards at all times.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Tool and die training, apprenticeship, or equivalent experience
- Several years of tool and die experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong blueprint reading and machining skills
- Ability to work with close tolerances and precision measuring tools
- CNC experience is a plus
