Job Summary
Toolmaker responsible for operating CNC and manual milling machines and lathes to fabricate tooling and fixtures, reading drawings, performing machine set-ups, repairs, and troubleshooting to improve equipment efficiency, safety, and quality; collaborate with machine operators, engineering staff, production control, and management; maintain measurement tools and ensure adherence to safety rules and PPE requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of manufacturing experience
- 5+ years of toolmaking experience
- Excellent communication skills including active listening
- Ability to troubleshoot issues efficiently and able to ask for help when needed
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software
- Must be comfortable and efficient in working in a busy open-floor environment
- Must be comfortable working in a team environment as well as individually
