Job Summary
Perform preventive maintenance on injection molds, operate machining tools for repairs, and test equipment to restore tools to operational status. Maintain stock inventories of validated and non-validated components, store parts according to procedure, and document reasons for mold repairs to prevent future interruptions. Escalate recurring production failures through the proper chain of command and maintain logs of all molds undergoing preventative maintenance. Adhere to all safety, health, and security policies while ensuring machine cleanliness standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have experience repairing plastic injection molds
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Machines and tools area knowledge
- Ability to Operate All Manual Mold Shop Equipment and Machines
- Mechanical skills
