Tooling Technician I.

Tooling Technician I responsible for the assembly, maintenance, repair, and optimization of high-precision injection molding tools, including complex tooling systems such as multi-cavity, three-plate, and multi-shot molds. The role supports tool readiness, production continuity, and quality compliance, working cross-functionally with Tooling Engineering, NPI, and Production teams. Leads tool assembly/disassembly, diagnostics and repairs, preventive and reactive maintenance, tool optimization, DFM discussions, NPI/validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ), and ensures adherence to quality systems with proper documentation. Provides OJT and mentoring to junior technicians, participates in daily meetings, and coordinates workload. Requires strong understanding of injection molding processes, ability to read engineering drawings, and proficiency with tool room equipment and precision tools; experience with complex molds is preferred.
