Tooling Technician I

Conduct daily cleaning, polishing, and measurement checks of solid dose tablet and capsule tooling to ensure readiness for production in accordance with FDA regulatory requirements. Use calipers, micrometers, and gauges to inspect punches, dies, and cams for defects, replacing worn parts and maintaining inventory to accommodate daily machine runs. Clean and store tooling after each use, complete internal check sheets, and communicate defects or damage concerns to Production Operator Leads and Supervisors. Notify the maintenance team for parts requiring repair or replacement. Maintain a safe environment while interacting with co-workers and performing other duties as assigned.
