Job Summary
Manage, maintain, and continuously improve all tooling-related activities, including the design, fabrication, repair, modification, and lifecycle management of tools, dies, molds, jigs, and fixtures. Ensure tooling operations meet production requirements, quality standards, cost targets, and delivery schedules through cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams. Apply root cause analysis, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement practices to optimize processes. Requires 8+ years in tooling, mold making, or die maintenance with 3+ years in a leadership role.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in tooling, mold making, or die maintenance
- 3+ years in a leadership role in a manufacturing environment
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field (preferred); equivalent experience accepted
- Strong technical knowledge of tooling design, maintenance, and manufacturing processes (e.g., CNC machining, EDM, injection molding)
- Proficient in CAD software and tooling documentation systems
- Experience with root cause analysis, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement practices
