Job Summary
Tooling Production Technician for 1st/2nd shift in Hamilton, OH. Responsible for setting up, maintaining, and operating CNC tooling equipment, interpreting 2D tooling drawings, programming/troubleshooting CAD/CAM software, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting with calibration using calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators to tolerances of +/- 0.0004”. Collaborates with 1st/2nd shift technicians to prioritize work and fulfill customer orders; requires mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and ability to work with others. Training includes a 10–12 week program; after training, primary shift is 6:00am–2:00pm. Travel is listed as No Travel. Essential duties include operating CNC equipment, maintaining inventories of shop supplies, interpreting work orders, and performing basic machine maintenance and repairs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience operating/programming CNC equipment
- CNC Experience
- 2D AutoCad
- Math and measurement proficiency
- Ability to program and troubleshoot CAD/CAM software
- Strong communication and teamwork
