Job Summary
Set up and operate lathes, milling machines, electrical discharge machines, and surface and cylindrical grinders while performing tool assembly, mold repair, and maintenance including Red Tag work order processing. Construct injection molds from basic to high complexity, complete engineering changes, and repair cavities and cores. Build fixtures and gages, perform Tig/MiG and micro-welding, and instruct apprentices in equipment operation. Execute Project Leader duties on new molds or major revisions, ensuring project quality. Observe all health and safety requirements and maintain a neat work area. This role requires 5-10 years of mold-making experience, troubleshooting hydraulics and electrical systems, and operates on a 3rd shift (10pm-6am) in Arlington, TX.
Required Qualifications

- Arlington, TX facility location
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Broad knowledge of molding and injection mold repair with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical problems
- 5-10 years of mold-making, repair, and maintenance experience
- Strong experience with stoning and polishing mold components
- Must be able to stand on feet and/or sit 8-12 hours a day
- Must be able to lift 40lbs on an occasional basis
- Must be able to lift 15 lbs regularly
- Must be able to perform overhead work
- Must be able to work below the waist
