Job Summary
Design and fabricate production fixtures and tooling while creating CAD models and engineering drawings to support product development projects. Improve manufacturing processes and workflows by evaluating methods, investigating production issues, and recommending enhancements. Partner with engineering and production teams to develop technical documentation and solve technical problems that improve safety, quality, and efficiency. This hands-on role balances shop-floor needs with engineering requirements for a team focused on innovative tooling and process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience in fabrication, machining, or manufacturing
- SolidWorks or CAD experience
- Knowledge of production processes and tooling
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems
- Strong attention to detail
