Job Summary
Create, assign, and monitor work orders while tracking service intervals and ordering parts for heavy equipment and aerial lifts. Diagnose issues by pulling data from hundreds of makes and models to determine root causes and corrective actions. Perform maintenance and repair on complex tools using a high degree of independent judgment, practicing safe job practices throughout. Maintain electronic documentation of work performed daily and assist in training lower-level technicians. Support equipment and parts pick-up and delivery. Use technology comfortably, including laptops and tablets, to manage tasks efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Extensive knowledge of construction equipment with an advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams
- Superior customer service, teamwork and verbal/written communication skills
- Must be able to move, stand, stoop and bend freely
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must pass a 10 panel drug screen
- Must pass a background check
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma, Trade school certificate preferred
- Experience in field service, maintenance and repair preferred
- Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements
