Tooling Engineering Manager

Lead and manage a Tooling Engineering team responsible for the design, fabrication, and integration of production jigs and fixtures across production areas. Drive tooling project timelines, budgets, and deliverables from concept through production readiness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align tooling solutions with product and production requirements. Drive process improvements to reduce cycle time and cost while maintaining quality and safety. Oversee recruitment, performance management, and professional development of tooling engineers; mentor teams in design for manufacturability, materials handling, and ergonomics. Evaluate and implement new tooling technologies and materials to improve efficiency and capability. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards; troubleshoot complex tooling issues in development and production. Foster a collaborative, high-performing engineering culture and promote the tooling team as a critical resource.
