Job Summary
Tooling Engineer to design, fabricate, and integrate production tooling (jigs and fixtures) across manufacturing areas; collaborate with Manufacturing, Design, Quality, and Supply Chain; support tooling procurement and commissioning; drive process improvements to reduce cycle time and cost; ensure tooling meets safety, quality, and regulatory standards; troubleshoot tooling issues; share knowledge within the organization; ITAR-compliant eligibility required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in tooling design and development
- Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Experience with GD&T and/or drawing interpretation
- Demonstrated experience supporting tooling development through design, procurement, and implementation
- ITAR compliance: must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
