Job Summary
Manage the daily operation of the tool crib, ensuring accurate inventory and availability of tools and company assets. Maintain and administer the asset management system, including tracking, lifecycle management, transfers, and retirement. Procure tooling, equipment, and MRO supplies through sourcing, quotation, negotiation, and purchase order management. Coordinate preventative maintenance, repairs, warranties, and calibration programs for company-owned tools and equipment. Perform cycle counts, physical inventories, and inventory optimization to maintain high accuracy and control costs. Support manufacturing operations by ensuring tooling availability and responding to urgent needs. Maintain compliance with OSHA, ISO, and safety requirements through inspections and audit support. Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Maintenance, Warehouse, and Procurement teams to support operational efficiency. Requires on-site presence five days per week to regularly support production floor operations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years of experience in tool crib operations, asset management, maintenance, inventory control, or manufacturing
- Experience with ERP systems, inventory management, and Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational and customer service skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Must be able to work on-site five days per week and regularly support production floor operations
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field
