Job Summary
Tool Technician (Mechanic) at EquipmentShare working at a rental facility in Santa Teresa, NM. Responsibilities include using tech to manage and monitor work orders, tracking service intervals, ordering parts, diagnosing issues, performing repairs and preventative maintenance on a range of rental and customer equipment (pneumatic tools, material lifts, chain hoists, core drills, welders, pipe threaders, small engines) under supervision, maintaining documentation, assisting with pickup/delivery of equipment and parts, and adhering to OSHA requirements. The role supports year-round OEM training and requires comfort with laptops/tablets/mobile devices. Education requirement is a High School diploma or equivalent with an active state driver’s license; construction knowledge is preferred. Schedule is Monday–Friday with overtime after 40 hours and possible on-call duties.
