Tool Technician

Diagnose and repair pneumatic tools such as power nailers and staplers by disassembling units, using testing devices to identify problems, and following manufacturer guidelines for assembly and warranty requirements. Track time and materials for each repair job, prepare paperwork, and maintain stock of repair parts while receiving threaded mechanical fasteners to ensure correct items, prices, and quantities are shipped. Deliver products to customers, manage inventory stock for replenishment, and report items needed for orders. Train entry-level technicians on proper techniques, attend all training to learn new technology, and cross-train in other areas to expand expertise. Perform other duties as assigned while complying with workplace safety policies and standards.
