Tool Technician (Small Engine Mechanic)

Job Summary
Use our tech to create, assign, and monitor work orders, track service intervals, order parts, and diagnose issues by pulling data from hundreds of makes and models. Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on rental and customer equipment including pneumatic tools, lifts, and small engines under supervision while using independent judgment. Practice safe job practices, maintain electronic documentation of work performed daily, and assist with pick-up and delivery of equipment and parts. Requires mechanical aptitude, tool ownership, and a valid driver's license. Schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with overtime pay after 40 hours and subject to on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- Must own tools applicable to position
- Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of hand and power tools, schematics and diagrams
- High School diploma, or equivalent
- Active applicable state class driver's license
- Must be able to move, stand, stoop and bend freely
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
- Must be available for on-call scheduling
- Must pass a 10 panel drug screen
- Must pass a background check
Desired Qualifications
- Construction knowledge and background preferred
- Be knowledgeable of OSHA requirements
