Job Summary
Tool Technician III role performing maintenance and repairs on conventional tools, down-hole tools, and other equipment used in down-hole operations. Responsibilities include assembling/disassembling down-hole tools, inspecting surface equipment, performing maintenance and repairs, promoting safety and environmental procedures, complying with HSE regulations, and actively participating in quality improvement. Requires mechanical aptitude, ability to perform pressure testing, and basic computer skills; licensure to drive commercial equipment may be required. Experienced hire with typical background of high school diploma and 2-3 years in tool tech roles. Location-based on-site role at 15 Marriott Road, Perth, Western Australia, Australia.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or similar education
- 2-3 years of experience as a Tool Technician II or equivalent tool technician experience
- Ability and authorization to accept and reject pressure tests on assemblies
- Basic computer skills
- Licensure to drive commercial equipment may be required
- Effective communication with others
- Basic mathematical calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Basic reading comprehension and writing skills
- Basic computer skills (preferred)
