Job Summary
Tool Technician at EquipmentShare responsible for maintenance and repair of rental and customer equipment and tools (pneumatic tools, material lifts, chain hoists, core drills, welders, pipe threaders, small engines). Responsibilities include creating, assigning, and monitoring work orders; tracking service intervals; ordering parts; diagnosing issues using data from multiple makes/models; performing repairs and preventative maintenance; ensuring OSHA safety practices; using laptops/tablets/mobile devices; assisting with pickup/delivery of equipment and parts; maintaining electronic work order documentation; participating in on-call scheduling with overtime incentives; year-round OEM training; and performing other duties as needed. The role emphasizes mechanical aptitude, tool knowledge, and safe, efficient equipment upkeep in a fast-paced construction support environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma, or equivalent
- Active state driver''s license
- Construction knowledge and background preferred
