Job Summary

Perform routine inspections, maintenance, adjustments, testing, and repairs on industrial equipment, including small gas engines and pneumatic, electric, hydraulic, and contractor tools. Troubleshoot mechanical issues independently and complete work orders, repair documentation, and parts requests accurately. Maintain a clean, organized work area while following all safety policies and quality standards. This role requires standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and operating hand and power tools in a fast-paced repair shop environment. Overtime may be required based on workload.

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Candidate must provide their own hand tools for repairs
  • Must be able to work overtime when needed
  • Ability to obtain an internal forklift certification
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds regularly
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally
  • Must be able to operate hand and power tools safely
  • Must have good hand-eye coordination
  • Must have close vision for precision repairs
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods (over 90% of the workday)
  • Must be able to walk, bend, stoop, climb, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive motions
  • Must be able to follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards
  • Must be able to maintain excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Must be able to provide professional customer service
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced repair shop environment
  • Must be able to work with heat, humidity, temperature fluctuations, and shop noise
  • Must be able to work around moving mechanical equipment
  • Must be able to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, and hard hats

Desired Qualifications

  • Technical or vocational school training
  • Experience repairing industrial tools and equipment
  • Moderate knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical repair techniques
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical equipment independently
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining quality and safety standards
  • Professional attitude with strong customer service skills
  • Experience repairing Manual Chain Hoists
  • Experience repairing Chain Pullers
  • Experience repairing Pneumatic Tuggers and Winches
  • Experience repairing Pneumatic Impact Tools
  • Experience repairing Electric and Pneumatic Power Tools
  • Experience repairing Electric Threaders
  • Experience repairing Milling Equipment (Electric & Pneumatic)
