Tool Shop Supervisor

Job Summary
Lead in the development of tool making processes to minimize time and ensure high quality. Coordinate with department leaders to ensure tool availability, train Tool Shop staff on safe and economical processes, plan and manage special projects, schedule daily production assignments, monitor tool shop quality, drive continuous improvement, maintain inter-department communication, oversee overtime, conduct and participate in interviews, maintain training records, enforce safety and tool-handling standards, and develop setup/procedure records while developing tool flow and reporting on metrics such as rework and scrap. Operate CNC machines as needed and contribute to SAP information flow.
Required Qualifications
- Able to operate CNC Equipment and Machines
- Able to read Blueprints
- Able to communicate Effectively
- Able to understand production requirements and methods
- Technical Schooling or associate's degree in Machine Tool Technology preferred
