Tool Room Machinist

Set up and operate standard machine tools on progressive machining operations for parts, equipment, and tools, including experimental and development work. Plan, lay out, and perform necessary operations using sketches, blueprints, or instructions to construct, alter, or repair tools, dies, fixtures, and special purpose equipment. Operate Milling, Lathes, Surface Grinders, O.D. Grinders, and Saws while utilizing inspection equipment such as calipers, indicators, bore gauges, height gauges, and digital readouts. Requires 5 to 8 years of experience in a related field.
