Tool Room Attendant/Vending Specialist

Job Summary
Receives, unpacks, and stores incoming tools and equipment, then requisitions stock to replenish inventory. Mark and identify tools using tags or electric marking tools, while performing cycle counting and general housekeeping. Deliver tools or products to workers manually or via hand truck, and inspect equipment for defects or wear to report damage. Replenish and maintain stocked vending machines, coordinate customer needs, and identify cost savings initiatives. Assist with optimizing scheduled maintenance operations to reduce breakdowns. Requires high school diploma, experience with supply cribs, and computer managed inventory systems.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience with the daily operation of supply cribs
- Professional phone demeanor
- Experience with computer managed inventory systems
- Ability to be flexible
Desired Qualifications
- Mechanical or Industrial background preferred
- Experience working with maintenance and manufacturing personnel is a plus
