Tool Room (2P-10P)

Tool Room (2P-10P) role at Pace die-casting facility involves maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and optimization of dies, trim tools, fixtures, and related tooling in high pressure aluminum die casting operations. Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, disassembly/reassembly of dies and tooling, welding/grinding/machining/fitting tooling, coordinating die changes and setup, monitoring tooling performance, contributing to root cause analysis and corrective actions, maintaining tooling maintenance records, supporting tool tryouts and process improvements, and ensuring safety, quality, and housekeeping adherence. Requires ability to read blueprints and tooling drawings, experience with welding/CNC/manual machining, and knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and cooling systems; preferred experience with TPM, lean manufacturing, and tooling-related processes. Ability to work independently and in a team, lift up to 50 pounds, and operate in a manufacturing environment with heat and noise.
