Tool Maker

Tool Maker responsible for the development of tooling for the manufacturing extrusion line(s), including setting up and operating vertical and CNC mills to produce tooling and die fixtures, manual and CNC lathes, and wire EDM. Performs inspection and quality control using gauges, micrometers, calipers, and granite plates; develops tooling to very tight tolerances; maintains dies and tools for extrusion lines; uses AutoCAD/Esprit to draw projects; supports other departments through tool and die repair orders; reads blueprints; works with the Manager on issues; maintains organized work area, demonstrates strong communication and teamwork; requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
