Job Summary
Set up and program CNC machines for tight tolerance parts and stamping components, while operating manual mills, lathes, and surface grinding equipment. Interpret blueprints and apply GD&T skills to machine complex components. Starting pay varies based on CNC and metal stamping experience. This role requires standing for 8-9 hours daily with minimal breaks and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Overtime is available as needed. Required Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in setting up, programming CNC equipment, with emphasis on tight tolerance metal components
- Strong blue print reading and GD&T application/interpretation skills
- Able to stand for 8-9 hours/day with minimal break periods
- Willing to work overtime as needed
- Regularly able to lift up to 40lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with stamping die components
- Any previous experience with 5-axis machining
- 3D programming
- Metal stamping dies
- Journeyman Tool Maker or Machinist status
