Tool Maker-Monte 3rd Shift

Tool Room Toolmaker for 3rd shift responsible for repairing and performing preventative maintenance on stamping dies and assembly tooling, with focus on quality workmanship and timely completion. Duties include tooling repair using machining and hand-work, operating tool room equipment, welding, attending pre-shift meetings, coordinating with tool room management and plant personnel, implementing preventive maintenance programs, supporting lean manufacturing and continuous improvement, and maintaining documentation. Requires reading and interpreting technical procedures/diagrams, applying advanced math concepts, and demonstrating integrity and teamwork in a safe, production-driven environment. Knowledge of lathes, milling machines, grinders, drill presses, saws, die design and repair, welding and heat treating, and quality control is important; experience with ERP/Workday screening tools may be used.
