Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in tool making
- Proven experience as a Tool Maker
- Proficiency in the setup and operation of manual and CNC machining equipment
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, GD&T, and various metrology tools for precise measurement and inspection
- Proficiency in selecting and working with a variety of materials, including tool steels, carbides, and plastics
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on tooling and manufacturing equipment
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail in creating and repairing precision tools, dies, and fixtures
